Second FLDP Grad Receives County Community Service Award

Fluvanna Leadership Development Program graduate Richard Payne received the Fluvanna County Service Award the July 5 board of supervisors meeting.  Payne was cited for his significant volunteer and community service.   He has been active in the Fluvanna Tax Preparation Program, which serves over 800 people each year, for 11 years and led it in 2017.  He has worked with Habitat for Humanity and audits other local volunteer groups. Payne is the second FLDP graduate to receive this award from the county, following in the footsteps of Rudy Garcia in 2016.
