FLDP Class 14 Alumni and Steering Committee member, Catherine Garcia was recognized at the June 19 Fluvanna Board of Supervisors meeting by receiving the Fluvanna County, VA, Community Service Award Resolution for her 8 years of outstanding community service while leading the Interact Club of Fork Union Military Academy.  Over 8 years the club accumulated over 8,000 community service hours, worked with over 35 different community organizations and had an economic impact of over $200,000 as measured by Virginia standards.
